espie is a 22 year old visual artist, painter, poet, editor, writer, fiber artist, & occasional videographer & photographer. they have been a creative all their life, but didn't find their calling until they started abstract painting with palette knives at 16, inspired by a visit to an exhibit of the work of zhang he and willy ramos.

they have expanded from the medium that first called to them (acrylic paint) to many others (watercolour, pencil crayon, chalk & oil pastel, and now oil paint and textiles).

they are currently working on applying their style to representational work, moving away from non-objective painting, and on expanding their knowledge of crochet and other fiber arts.
